The article shows that in the society envisioned by the Prophet people were not segregated into the pious and the sinners but it was a unified, inclusive society, where each person could be at a different level of piety.
Where was love in the Prophet’s life and how should be our love for him? Is it a matter of affection or of action? How could we articulate this love?
The Prophet was even merciful and compassionate when in war. He commanded his companions, "Do not kill women, old men, children, or religious monks and priests.”
He taught humanity how to live in the most productive and meaningful way. He taught that humans are not just responsible for being just to one another but also to other life beings.
